Diese CD widme ich all jenen, die mir beim Bau einer neuen Grundschule in Burkina Faso geholfen haben. Die CD bringt außerdem die Lösung für zwei Probleme, die mich lange Zeit beschäftigt haben: Wie kann ich unsere Balafonmusik, die normalerweise von drei Musikern gemeinsam gespielt wird, allein darbieten? Wie kann ich unsere Balafonkultur Menschen näher bringen, die unsere Sprache nicht beherrschen? (mehr...)

I dedicate this CD to all those who have supported me in constructing a new primary school in Burkina Faso. The CD also brings the solution to two problems that have occupied me for a long time: How can I present our balafon culture to people who do not speak our language? And how can I play balafon music – normally composed for three musicians playing on one instrument – so that I can convey the same message? (more...)

Je dédie ce CD à tous ceux qui m'ont aidé à construire une nouvelle école primaire au Burkina Faso. Le CD apporte également la solution à deux problèmes qui m'ont occupé pendant une longue période: Comment puis-je présenter, seul, la musique faite au balafon, alors qu´elle est normalement jouée par trois musiciens? Comment puis-je faire découvrir à des gens, qui ne comprennent pas notre langue, l´enrichissement culturel associé à ce type de musique? (en savoir plus...)
